Mouse Alpha 1 Acid Glycoprotein Purified from Innovative Research has been purified from mouse serum. This is a frozen liquid buffered in 10 mM sodium phosphate, 150 mM sodium chloride, pH 7.2 with 0.09% sodium azide, with a concentration of greater than or equal to 1mg/ml and a purity of greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE analysis.
This product is useful for Immunoassay and Immunology applications. Alpha-1-Acid Glycoprotein (A1AG), also called Orosomucoid, acts as a carrier for basic and neutrally-charged lipophillic compounds including various medications like steroids and protease inhibitors. A1AG is one of the four circulating biomarkers that are thought to be potentially useful in estimating the five-year risk for all-cause mortality (along with Albumin, VLDL particle size, and Citrate).
